I'm alive!

So, friends, I am sorry it's been 875698769087 years but the internet here is terrible. Oh well. Some key things:
I went to the slave castles. That was crazy.
I got malaria....BUT I'M FINE. NO WORRIES, FOLKS.
Lizards keep finding their way into my room.
I miss all you dearly.
It's starting to get CRAZY hot here.
I have crazy cravings for American food.
Classes are 2 hours long and super slow and the lecturers dictate as students take word-for-word notes and tell wrong information.
We lost water for 5 days...ew.
African dancing at Dagbe killed me. Slowly. And I can't drum.
Swahili scares me!! Ahh!!
Registering for classes was a FIASCO. But it's done now thank goodness.
The pizza here is bearable.
I officially hate rice.
I am going to Kumasi this weekend! They have kente cloth and wood carvings and many more things to spend a lot of money on!
My brain is on overdrive thinking of things to remember.
I hate having a prepaid phone.
I am missing so many things at home and it hurts me.
Men here are quite persistent.
I have been proposed to once and met 2 "princes."
I have given out many a fake phone number and e-mail address.
Red dust is completely inevitable.
I got my first Ghanaian mani-pedi. AMAZING.
I have a new appreciation for fast food.
Sorry for all the birthdays I miss!!!!!
I went to my first "football" game and Michael Essien is BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING.

That's all I can think of right now. Bah. I will try to get on the internet more, but no promises.
Again, I miss you all dearly and will update you as much as I can!
