34 days!

Hello, friends! Sorry for the lapse. Internet issues, as per usual.
1. Halloween without costumes, candy, or Tufts=LAME. Sadness. Sigh.
2. We saw The Ugly Truth was SOOOO funny. And looking at Gerard Butler was not an issue at all. Good stuff.
3. Sarah Nash has gotten me into the Showtime show Weeds. I am hooked. It's great. Everyone should watch it. But, it's a Showtime show so anything goes. ANYTHING.
4. The bats are back. It's really gross. And scary.
5. We went to Madina last Tuesday to go buy MAD fabric. It was great! Less than $2 a yard=heaven!
6. We went to Akosombo this weekend. It's the hydroelectric dam that is powering the electricity to the country AND the water. It's crazy big. The biggest man-made lake in the world. Sadly, it submerged and displaced 750 villages. They don't seem to think that's a problem. We also went on a ferry on said lake. It left an hour late in true Ghanaian fashion but it was nice anyway! AND the hotel had hot water and wonderful water pressure. Good stuff.
7. It's hotter than the last time I posted. How? I have no idea.
8. MY MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER ARE COMING A WEEK FROM THURSDAY!! YAYAYAYYAYAYAYYYYYYYY!!!!!! I'm excited. I am going to try my best to show them as much of the Greater Accra Region as I can. Wish me luck!
